Environmental, Audit & Assessment, Inc. (EAA) uses advanced Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to provide clients with a wide range of GIS/GPS and digital mapping services.  Using data from a variety of sources, EAA can create clear, concise and legible maps, either as an individual service or as an integral part of a larger project.  EAA’s GPS capabilities comply with the updated COGCC rules.

Using the Trimble GeoXH GPS with sub-foot accuracy, EAA’s trained personnel are capable of plotting any location, such as well locations, utilities, USTs and drilling locations.  This capability reduces the need for time consuming and costly manual mapping methods.  Should a client require greater accuracy, the Trimble GeoXH GPS can be increased to 10 cm.

EAA’s experienced staff utilizes ESRI’s ArcGIS Mapping Software and analytical tools to to build maps tying customer databases with spatial locations creating maps for decision making, spatial relationships, presentations and other uses. Map features can be drawn directly onto maps, obtained from online sources or collected in the field using the GPS.  Mapping functions support EAA’s Phase I and Phase II Site Assessments, Site Characterizations, Storm Water Management Plans, Permitting, Drilling and Spill Response activities.

Elizabeth McDowell is a 2007 graduate from Mesa State College, with a B.S. in Geology and a minor in GIS.  As the head of the GIS/GPS program, she will support permitting and OPS projects.
