Various state and local agencies are
charged with the task of regulating the development and extraction of
Colorado’s natural resources, such as sand & gravel, stone and oil & gas.
Environmental, Audit & Assessment, Inc.’s staff is MSHA certified and will
obtain the necessary permits for natural resource development, through
coordination with all required local and state agencies, including:

- The US Army Corps of Engineers – 404
Dredge & Fill Permit.
- The Colorado Division of
Reclamation, Mining & Safety – 110.111 or 112 Permits.
- County Land Use Departments –
Special Use Permits.
- The Colorado Department of Public
Health & Environment – Air Pollution Control Division – Fugitive
Dust Permit.
- Colorado’s Water Quality Control
Division – Colorado Discharge Permit.
- Bureau of Land Management.
- Colorado Department of
Transportation.
- Colorado Oil &
Gas Conservation Commission.

- Stormwater Management Plans – The
federal Clean Water Act prohibits any person from discharging pollutants
into a waterway from a point source unless a permit is issued by the
Environmental Protection Agency. EAA’s staff has Erosion Control
Supervisor Training and can develop plans necessary to obtain this type
of permit including NPDES and prepares DMRs.

Jason Roberson graduated from Mesa State College in 2004 with a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Biology and GIS. As Natural Resource Manager, Jason
will be working on Phase I and Phase II Assessments, OPS Projects, including
system installation and remediation, Site Clean-ups, Groundwater Monitoring
and Site Closures.
